Two Nights. Two Cities. One Powerful Story.

On April 30 in Charleston and May 7 in Columbia, hundreds gathered for the premiere of Turning Point, a documentary that tells the raw, real story of Turn90 and the men rebuilding their lives after incarceration.

Hosted at Charleston Music Hall and The Nickelodeon Theatre, each screening was more than just a film screening—it was a moment. A moment to celebrate the power of second chances. A moment to see the humanity behind the statistics. And a moment to believe, once again, that change is not only possible—it’s already happening.

Guests were welcomed with light bites and warm conversation before taking their seats for the :55 minute film. Turning Point, a production of Susie Films in association with SCETV and the ETV Endowment, shines a light on the day-to-day work of Turn90—and more importantly, the people at the center of it. Men who have overcome, persevered, and are now leading the way.

Before each screening, we heard powerful opening remarks from Adrienne Fairwell, Aundreana Hunter, and Dr. Stephanie Cook of SCETV, whose leadership and vision helped bring this story to life.

Following the film, a thoughtful panel discussion pulled back the curtain on what it takes to launch and sustain a reentry program like Turn90 and why this work matters more than ever.

In Charleston, our panel included:

  • Coby Hennecy, Executive Director, ETV Endowment of South Carolina
  • Amy Barch, Founder & Executive Director, Turn90
  • Terrance Ferrell, Turn90 Graduate & Columbia Center Director
  • Scott Galloway, Director, Turning Point, Susie Films
  • Kate Johnston, Executive Producer, Turning Point
  • Bryan Stirling, Director, S.C. Department of Corrections

We were honored to have Turn90 graduates in the room, alongside board members, donors, community champions, families, and friends. You showed up, you listened, and you saw the story for what it truly is: a turning point for South Carolina.

To everyone who helped make this possible—SCETV, the ETV Endowment, Susie Films, Charleston Music Hall, The Nickelodeon, Homegrown Hospitality, Mail & More, Snyder Event Rentals, and each and every one of you who filled the seats—thank you. You reminded us that community is the heartbeat of change.
